Learn to play music!

I've been teaching private lessons in the East Bay since 2008. Through my experience, I've found that inspiration and patience are two of the most valuable ingredients for a good music education. I’ve also learned that a major part of my role is to build upon my students’ love for music. This means learning what a student already enjoys, introducing him or her to new sounds, and working at a pace that pushes him or her but not so much that it turns learning into a chore. I encourage good reading skills, a strong understanding of music theory, and a well rounded appreciation of musical styles.

In 2021, I opened Seeds of Music Academy where we teach Guitar, Bass, Ukelele, Piano, Voice, Music Production, and Student Rock Bands.
